Aanisah Long is an alternative, soul, Hip-Hop music artist born in Los Angeles, California; and her strong musical background includes being the daughter of Westcoast music icon Kokane, and the granddaughter of Motown Records' writer and composer Jerry B. Long Sr.

As a philanthropist, Aanisah's remarkable voice expanded her toward becoming involved with the "World Vision Clean Water Project" created by Leon Mclaughlin & Paula Boggs (former president of Starbucks Coffee).

The project featured artists from across the globe, and it helped bring awareness of the famine plaguing 3rd world countries; and Aanisah’s song “Cry Out” is featured on the music compilation.

Aanisah was one of the youngest spokespersons involved in the project.

Her music range has developed multifacetedly as singer, songwriter and rap-artist.

Many of her popular recordings include "Grew Apart" ft. Cavell, "Love Potion # 9", "Girlfriend", "Strobe Lights", "F Boy Signs", and the daughter-father Hip-Hop gangsta rap duet "Like Daddy Like Daughter" ft. Kokane.
