Denzel Davis, who has released his new single “Petco”, is a prolific Hip-Hop artist from the heart and soul of San Bernardino, CA and is representing in Phoenix, AZ.
His music speaks on how he grew up in the struggle; and also delivers perspective of today's society that influence or inspire people - whether it is the older crowd or the younger generation.
He was raised in the struggle and overcame many obstacles in life, including bone disease sickness to beating cancerous tumors five times back-to-back.
Many people can relate to Denzel on a personal level and be inspired to remain steadfast of their goals without compromise; thus, he's not about wavering to his detriment.
Denzel emerged on the music scene in 2008 after leaving San Bernardino and relocating to "The Valley of The Sun" Phoenix, AZ; and he had begun dominating Phoenix's rap scene with live performances.
His solidified breakthrough was in 2016, when he dropped the mixtape February, that took the Arizona Hip-Hop scene by surprise and established him as an authentic rap lyricist and an activist of the community.
DD's evolution is evident from the enlarged catalog that he's developed such as The Muggsy Bogues Project, Muggsy Bogues 2, and Apollo; and many single releases including the new "Petco" (and a remix ft. JHound), "Down On My Luck" ft. ComptonAsstg, "Cut Ties" and "Impatient" ft. Jmelo, and "Keep It 1000" ft. Bookie, Lacey January & Marquel Dejuan.
He has also guest featured on various projects including K.T. Gipson & Vonni G's "Munchies" and Jreed's "Loosin".
