ALFREDA! - "Died to Myself"

Powerhouse vocalist ALFREDA! is debuting her newest single "Died to Myself"; a gritty gospel-tinged soul anthem about rebirth and spiritual awakening. Set against a backdrop of horns, organ and a driving groove, "Died to Myself" is a testimony of inner transformation - a woman burning away her past and stepping into her truth.

Praised for her genre-defying vocal range and dynamic stage presence, Alfreda Gerald is marking the bold beginning of her personal and professional next chapter simply known as ALFREDA!

Her astounding résumé consists of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, and the North Carolina Symphony Orchestra.

And her career includes performances alongside Elton John, Warren Haynes, Oteil Burbridge, The Gap Band, Michelle Malone, Third Day, Celine Dion, The Black Crowes, Gladys Knight, Shawn Mullins, Taliesin Orchestra, Yanni and Outkast. She has expanded into TV and film markets such as with Cartoon Network/Adult Swim's Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Tyler Perry's Madea's Witness Protection (2012) performing "Oh Happy Day” and The Hate U Give (2018).

In addition to Classical, Gospel, R&B and Soul, ALFREDA! has been featured in a host of House-Music club mixes such as "Work My Body" (2024) with Jame Starck & Mark Row), "Dreams Come Through" (2022) with Patrik Remann), and "Let The Music Lift You Up" (2022) with Mobin Master).

In 2004, she debuted with the solo album Soulstice.

Now, "Died to Myself" is ALFREDA!'s leading single toward her newest album project to come - Fate Will Have It - promoted to be crafted specifically for her voice and fire.
